Workshop “Rural and ethno tourism in Tisa valley” was the first event in Novi Sad within the project HUSRB /1602/3/0204- WATERTOUR- Development of water tourism on waterways connecting Hungary and Serbia. Topic of the workshop was ethno and cultural heritage in Tisa valley, and the connection with the development of rural tourism. Main goal of the workshop was to present the examples of good practice in rural tourism in the Tisa Valley, as well as the making of thematic maps, where most important cultural and ethnical specifics of the Serbs, Slovaks and Hungarians in the northern, middle and lower part of Tisa in Vojvodina was presented. The main idea of the workshop was to emphasize multiculturalism as a significant advantage in forming a tourist offer in the Tisa Valley.
