The workshop “Nautical tourism in the valley of the river Tisza” was the second event in Novi Sad within the framework of the project HUSRB/1602/3/0204 – WATERTOUR – Development of water tourism on waterways connecting Hungary and Serbia. The theme of the workshop was nautical tourism in the Tisza valley and its connections to the development of rural tourism. One of the main goals of the workshop was to present the best practices in nautical tourism in the Tisza valley in Serbia and Hungary. Another objective of the workshop was to determine the importance of nautical tourism in forming tourism offers in the Tisza valley.
A forum of experts was held on the same day, 23 May, after the workshop (at 13:30). All of the partners participated in the forum. In a discussion they exchanged the experiences, problems and challenges that they had to face during the research work. Participants developed a common methodology for presenting and comparing potentials for the development of tourism in the valley of the river Tisza.
