The workshop aimed at presenting the various cultural values and the architectural treasures at identified locations along the river Tisza, and informing about the educational content of the project. Professor Zsolt Námesztovszki, the Vice-Dean of The Hungarian Language Teacher Training Faculty in Subotica opened the workshop, who welcomed all the participants, together with Zoltán Vass from the local government of Kaniza. Professors Dr Valéria Pintér-Krekity from the Hungarian Language Teacher Training Faculty in Subotica, Zsolt Katona from the University of Szeged and Dr Imre Nagy from the Faculty of Sciences held detailed presentations about different aspects of the project. Professors Dr Judit Raffai and Dr Géza Czékus opened a photo exhibition, titled “The river Tisza as the boatsmen see it”.
